Our Team
IASD (earlier known as Interior House, now; Infinity Architects and Space Designers) traces its roots back to being Silchar’s first architectural and interior design firm with its practice founded by Mr. Dipankar Dev in 1995. It was just recognised as a consultancy firm back then. The firm is currently run by Dipankar Dev and Divyatanu Dev.
Through its two generations, IASD has retained a value system that focuses on high-quality design, ethical practice and a working philosophy based on courtesy consideration and collaboration.
IASD is efficient and skilled in every aspect of planning and management, balanced by rich and high interaction of a small one.
The firm’s commitment to vigorous, critical design review sessions has influenced its designers with a shared sense of deep commitment to every project. The intense level of design counsel and creative interaction is purposefully kept high to stimulate new ideas.
IASD family is happy to celebrate 27 years of designing major projects in India.
In the early stages, the firm began working on residential interiors only. The portfolio soon grew to include apartments, commercial buildings, schools, malls, villas and assisted living spaces.

Er Dipankar Dev is the proprietor and Managing Partner at IASD with a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from IASE, New Delhi.

Er Dipankar Dev is the proprietor and Managing Partner at IASD with a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from IASE, New Delhi.
Initially, he served the Indian Railways and All India Radio and Doordarshan as a Civil Engineer for more than 30 years now, having expertise in structural designs, surveying, high- performance building design (like studios, auditoriums, etc..).
He started practicing as an interior designer along with his job as a high-performance building designer just as an added skill along with making colour schemes for various large-scale projects as a colour consultant. Later, following this sense of design and this vibrant quality of his, he has done a lot of prestigious works both for private and public sectors.
He has several large projects to his credit like the Imperial Mall, Silchar, Bangya Bhavan, Silchar urban scale project of Gandhi Baag, Silchar, hospitality projects in Guwahati, commercial projects, like City Centre, Kolkata and many moreresidences when he worked as an interior designer.
Ar Divyatanu Dev
Ar Divyatanu Dev is the Principal Architect and Managing Partner at IASD.

After receiving his Bachelor’s in Architecture from Manipal School of Architecture and Planning, MAHE, Karnataka, he received his Masters in Urban Design from the Centre for Environment Planning and Technology, Ahmedabad (commonly known as CEPT University) along with LEED AP-BD+C and having worked with companies such as CnT Architects, Maheswari and Associates and CUBE Architects, he brings to the firm valuable insight into global Project Management and On-Time Delivery.
He is closely involved in the design, resourcing, and programming of all the firm’s projects. Passionate about amalgamating Design with New Technologies. He designs spaces that are healthy to live and work in. Being a very hands-on person, Divyatanu enjoys running projects from inception to completion, using innovative solutions and modern materials to deliver high quality, durable and useable developments to his clients. He has several large projects to his credit like the farmhousefor the President of Kala Academy, Goa, Clubhouse at Eco Park, Kolkata, urban scale project of Agro-Horticulture Society of India renovation, Kolkata and many more high-end residences when he worked as an architect and collaborated with other architectural firms.
